12. Functions of the Management Committee

  • The management committee is responsible for leading the association. It is the “managing body” within the meaning of the Austrian Association Act 2002. It shall perform all functions which are not assigned to another organ of the association. The following matters in particular are within its area of responsibility:
  • The establishment of an accounting system suitable for the association’s requirements, to include (as a minimum requirement) a running record of income/expenses and a list of assets;
  • Drawing up the annual budget, management report and accounts;
  • Preparation for and calling of the general assembly in the circumstances set out in point 9 paragraphs 1 and 2 (a)-(c) of these statutes;
  • Informing the members of the association about the association’s activities, its management and the audited accounts;
  • Administration of the association’s assets;
  • Admission and exclusion of ordinary and extraordinary members of the association;
  • Employing and terminating the employment of the association’s staff.
