- Membership extinguishes upon death, upon the loss of legal personality by legal persons and partnerships with legal capacity, by voluntary resignation and by exclusion.
- Resignation may only take place on 30th June and 31st December. At least 2 months prior written notice of the resignation must be given to the management committee. If the notice is late it shall only be effective upon the following resignation date. The date of the postmark shall be decisive for the timeliness of the notice.
- The management committee may exclude a member who, notwithstanding the receipt of two written warnings setting a suitable extension of time for payment, is in arrears with the payment of membership fees for more than 3 months. The obligation to pay the membership fees due is not hereby affected.
- The management committee may also exclude of a member from the association for a breach of other membership obligations or dishonourable conduct.
- The management committee may also resolve to revoke honorary memberships for the reasons stated in the previous paragraph.
